Oversight and Accountability

The ASAP board based in Yardley, PA receives funds from American donors. Our financial management team includes the board’s treasurer Linda McGowan, who is a retired Vice President at Price Waterhouse Cooper, and Evette Pettaway, (in the photo below) who has managed funds for nonprofits and businesses. Donations are wired periodically to the bank account of the new ASAP South Africa board. Fiscal management in South Africa is overseen by the board and a separate accounting firm. Regular financial reports are shared between the two ASAP nonprofits.
