A Study Has Begun
Faculty and students from the University of Pretoria’s Department of Early Childhood Education are assessing the impact of the PEN/ASAP model. PEN’s staff of 23 coaches mentor daycare owners as they turn their settings into preschools. This approach intervenes in the poverty cycle from the ground up. It gives children the chance to learn through play so they can succeed in school. We are thrilled that articles and presentations by the U. of Pretoria academics will increase awareness of our unique, scalable model.
